Movement

The Movement series could be the continuation of Life. But an agitated suite, full of noise and fury when blustery winds bend the bulrushes and put nature on alert. Here light plays the spectator, witness to the violent gusts that are a harbinger of the danger to come. Interlacing, swinging left and right, overlapping, twisting… Nothing seems to be able to stop the leaves, flowers, branches and larches from being captured in the flurries of wind. Then the storm dies, and the sagging branches slowly straighten, still shaken but alive. Movement is the story of a spectacle. How many hours has Jane spent observing and listening to the opera of nature? We sense it has subsided when the trampled grass, still dripping with water, stands together once again. Movement is a testament to the anger that can consume nature every now and then. G.H
